why?
pits - it is place around boxes, where car stop in pitstops
boxes - garage boxes, where car stay and mechanics work under it
so "in boxes" - car stay in boxes
"In boxes" sounds really unusual though and I've never heard it used. English language uses the term "pit garage" or just "garage" instead of "box". Drivers "box" to the pit box for new tyres / fuel or permanently to the garage.

1) driver stopped the car in the garage of the team
2) pilot with the car is in the garage team
i know what is pitstop, pitlane. but on tests these definitions are not applicable, becuase pitstops use only for pitstop training. гыгфддн car drive directly to team garage (called by me "boxes")
